Suzy Perkins' medium is oils. Suzy paints in the chiaroscuro method, the use of light and shade to enhance the picture. This process involves several layers of paint.

Suzy works from her own photographs and seeks to depict interesting windows and doors. Her specialty is the Georgian doors of Dublin.

After many happy years stationed on the west coast as a flight attendant for American Airlines she returned to the Kansas City area where she took up her love of painting as a full time occupation.
